Blackburn will improve when all their transfer business is done and the new faces find their feet, according to Steve Kean. The Rovers chief has already come under fire from large sections of the club's supporters after they followed up an opening day 2-1 defeat against Wolves at Ewood Park with a 3-1 reverse at Aston Villa on Saturday. However, Kean was quick to point out that he is still missing the likes of influential skipper Chris Samba, while the new faces he has drafted in need to time to acclimatise to the demands of the Premier League. The Scot is also looking to seal deals for Montenegrin international Simon Vukcevic, Dallas' defender George John and possibly Hoffenheim striker Vedad Ibisevic in the coming week to strengthen his options.Following the Villa Park defeat, Kean told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We are disappointed with the way the goals have been given away. "[Gabby] Agbonlahor did great for the first but we feel Emile Heskey has drifted off the second. "We came out in the second half and were excellent, scored the goal and Villa were on the back foot. "Ultimately it was the third goal that killed us. "I thought we played some nice football, had good possession and we are disappointed for the third because we could have got an offside. "We are working with people who have not been with us too long and they are all finding their ways with their team mates. "But there were periods of the game where we were on top."
