Kean Has Training Ground Pressure Relief
Blackburn manager Steve Kean insists he finds an escape from the pressures of a relegation battle on the training ground. Rovers are embroiled in a scrap for Barclays Premier League survival, lying just two points above the bottom three despite a worthy point at Arsenal last weekend. With seven matches remaining the stakes will get even higher - Blackburn face a crucial home game with fellow strugglers Birmingham on Saturday - and for some of those involved the tension will become unbearable. "I find my escape on the training ground when we do sessions," said Kean. "It is difficult if you don't get a result and you are at home looking at the table or analysing what you would have done differently. "You start looking at every player and giving them a mark out of 10 or asking whether your substitutions were right or could you have done something different. "But if it has been positive you can't not analyse it then, you have to say 'Why did that work?' and continue to improve on it. That's why I think my release is always back on the training ground."
