Kean Happy To Postpone Bolton Clash

Blackburn manager Steve Kean says that if Bolton need to postpone the game with Rovers at the weekend then he would be happy to do so.

Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest during the FA Cup quarter-final at Tottenham on Saturday night and it just may be that the Bolton players will not be ready to take part in a fixture being so soon after the unfortunate incident.

Bolton's Premier League match at Aston Villa on Tuesday night has already been postponed and Kean said he would go with the wishes of their Lancashire rivals should they need to cancel.

Kean said: "I think the whole footballing world has come together.

"Whatever we have to do we would only respect what Bolton want us to do next weekend.

"We hope he makes a full recovery but if they need a little bit more time and the game doesn't go ahead then we would respect that from Bolton's point of view."
