Blackburn boss Steve Kean hailed the performance of former Barcelona youngster Ruben Rochina on his first Barclays Premier League start. The 20-year-old, who moved from Catalonia to Rovers in January, impressed in the 2-0 defeat by Everton on Saturday before tiring late on. Kean believes Rochina's showing bodes wells for the future, and said: "I thought he was excellent. "I didn't tell him he was playing until Saturday morning to make sure he got a good night's sleep. I thought he showed good composure, he showed good awareness, he picked out his passes. "He hit a brick wall a little bit towards the end as he was shattered so we had to take him off. But I think the fans will see that he's a special talent and he's got a big future with us."
