Kalinic excited by Rovers challenge
Nikola Kalinic is relishing the challenge that lies ahead at Blackburn after being granted a work permit.
The 21-year-old Croatian striker will join Benni McCarthy, Jason Roberts, Franco Di Santo and Paul Gallagher in battling for a place once his transfer from Hadjuk Split is sealed.
Kalinic told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Blackburn have a great team. They have some nice players in attack.
"I am not afraid of the competition and positive that I can play in the starting XI.
"I hope we are ready for the start of the Premier League and we will try to claim a spot in Europe."
