Jones To Make Comeback On Saturday?
Blackburn take on Blackpool at Ewood Park on Saturday and there is a slight chance that young defender Phil Jones may be able to play some part in the game. The highly-rated 19-year-old has been out of the side since December 18th when he picked up a knee injury against West Ham United. He had to have surgery on the injury and it was expected at the time that he would be out for the rest of the campaign. But he has made excellent progress and is now on the verge of a first-team comeback. The player will be watched closely by the manager this week and that could result in him being given a place on the bench.
