Jermaine Jones is not letting it be known at the moment as to where his future lies, but he has not ruled out a return to Ewood Park next season. The 29-year-old United States international midfielder is with the national side at te moment as they prepare for the Gold Cup tournament. Jones says that at the moment he does not know what his plans are for next season, but he did enjoy his spell at Rovers in the second half of the season. Bundesliga outfit Schalke allowed the player to come to Rovers last season after a falling out with coach Felix Magath, since then Magath has been sacked and replaced by Ralf Rangnick, who has already said that he wants to see the player back at the club. But if he was to stay with Rovers it would be on a permanent basis with Steve Kean being willing to stump up to get his man. Jones told the Lancashire Telegraph: "It was a good, good time for me."I have a lot of new friends, they are very nice people and now I need to look at what happens."For me my next concentration is the Gold Cup and the other stuff is for Blackburn, Schalke and my agent, and we'll see what happens. Everything can happen."He added: "I was talking with Steve Kean, we stay in contact and he needs to talk with the owner and all that stuff. "I have a contract in Schalke for three years and this is the first thing. "The other stuff I let my agent sort out and then look what happens."
