Blackburn defender Lars Jacobsen has undergone a hernia operation but is looking to be back in action in around a month's time. Jacobsen’s last game was the 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the home leg of the Carling Cup semi final in January. The Dane has now said that the operation has been a success and hopes to be back in action sometime in April. "It is nine days since I had the surgery, but it is moving forward and so far it is going according to plan," Jacobsen said. "I would like to be ready to play again in four weeks, so hopefully I can train with the other players in a couple of weeks."
