I am really proud of the lads - Kean

Blackburn boss Steve Kean had praise for his depleted side after they beat Liverpool 3-1 at Ewood Park on Wednesday. Rovers took to the field with eight players missing due to suspension and injuries, but that didn’t stop them getting stuck into the Scousers and coming up with a great result. Martin Olsson broke the deadlock before Benjani Mwaruwari bagged a brace to put Kean`s men firmly in command. Kean said: "It was all about the togetherness; there is a tight group and we were down to the bare bones and that is how you show team spirit. "I don't think it is anything about me, it is about the team and showing what we are as a club and I am really proud of the lads."
