lackburn Rovers should have a slender advantage over Hull City going into Sunday's crucial Premier League clash at the KC Stadium.[LNB] Rovers exited the FA Cup to Coventry City on Tuesday, while Hull City edged past Sheffield United in their replay 48 hours later.[LNB]Both managers fielded much-changed sides in their midweek Cup ties, although the majority of their big names will be back on show at the KC Stadium.[LNB]Third from bottom Rovers will be desperate to claim something from their trip to East Yorkshire, while The Tigers have only won just once in their last 17 league outings following a strong start to the campaign.[LNB]The match sees Sam Allardyce go head-to-head with former Bolton Wanderers assistant Phil Brown, who worked under him for six years at The Reebok Stadium.[LNB]Hull City team newsCity boss Brown is likely to make a host of changes for his starting XI that saw off The Blades on Thursday.[LNB]Andy Dawson, Matt Duke, Anthony Gardner, Dean Marney, Ian Ashbee, Kevin Kilbane, Richard Garcia and Daniel Cousin could all be recalled.[LNB]Duke should replace Boaz Myhill between the sticks with Gardner returning to partner Michael Turner at the heart of Brown's defence.[LNB]Peter Halmosi will be hoping he can retain his place in City's starting line-up after scoring the 56th minute winner against Sheffield United.[LNB]Cousin is likely to lead the line, possibly alongside on-loan striker Manucho, with the likes of Garcia, Geovanni and Garcia all supporting the Frenchman.[LNB]Craig Fagan, Jimmy Bullard and George Boateng all remain long-term injuries for last year's Championship play-off final winners.[LNB]Blackburn team newsAllardyce, like Brown, is likely to re-jig his side after making no less than 11 changes from the side narrowly beaten by Manchester United at the weekend for Tuesday's fifth-round replay at Coventry.[LNB]Paul Robinson, Andre Ooijer, Ryan Nelsen, Vince Grella, El-Hadji Diouf, Keith Andrews, David Dunn, Morten Gamst Pedersen and Roque Santa Cruz will all come into contention.[LNB]Robinson will replace Jason Brown in goal for Rovers with experienced Dutchman Ooijer slotting in at the back alongside the likes of Nelson and Christopher Samba.[LNB]Pedersen and Diouf are likely to provide the attacking width up front for Rovers with Santa Cruz likely to be a lone striker for the Lancashire outfit.[LNB]Possible starting XIs[LNB]Hull City: Duke, Mendy, Turner, Gardner, Ricketts, Garcia, Marney, Ashbee, Geovanni, Halmosi, Cousin.[LNB]Blackburn: Robinson, Ooijer, Nelsen, Samba, Warnock, Diouf, Dunn, Mokoena, Grella, Pedersen, Santa Cruz.[LNB]
