Blackburn could receive less than £700,000 if Junior Hoilett in the summer should he maintain he will not sign a new contract.

The 23 year old is out of contract in the summer and has to be allowed to move on as a free agent, but because of his age, Rovers would be entitled to compensation.

The talented youngster moving on is the most likely thing that will happen given how things are at the club at the moment. But Rovers have not given up completely.

Should he go to a Premier League club, the two sides should agree a fee, if not it would be dictated by a tribunal as to how much Rovers were to receive.

However, Bayern Munich have shown an interest in the player and if he was to go there, different rules apply. Then Rovers would get 90,000 euros for each season he has been at the club, that would amount to just £670,000.
