The 19-year-old Canadian is relishing life in the Premier League after breaking into the Rovers first team in recent weeks.[LNB]Hoilett, comfortable in a number of attacking positions, has added a new dimension to Sam Allardyce's forward line and is now keen to establish himself in the top flight.[LNB]"I am happy to be here," said Hoilett, who has signed a new two-and-a-half year deal after lengthy negotiations.[LNB]"There were a few clauses that had to be removed but Blackburn was my first choice and always has been.[LNB]"It has been good, I've had a few chances. It's important to keep developing and improving my standard.[LNB]"I'm really looking forward to the trip to Anfield this weekend.[LNB]"I always look forward to playing against the top sides in the Premier League and one of the greatest players - Steven Gerrard of course."[LNB]Hoilett was first spotted by Blackburn playing in a junior tournament and then joined the club after impressing in a trial at the age of 12.[LNB]Work permit problems meant he had to be loaned out to German clubs SC Paderborn and St Pauli after he turned 16 but those issues have now been resolved.[LNB]Manager Sam Allardyce has given the player a chance this term and his early first-team performances have been promising.[LNB]Hoilett said: "I enjoyed my time out in Germany.[LNB]"I improved a lot and I gained a lot of experience playing in front of thousands of fans at such a young age. I really enjoyed it.[LNB]"I'm really looking forward to working more with Sam. He has confidence in me, he believes in me.[LNB]"There are a lot of young players coming though and we all work well together as a unit, so hopefully we'll develop well."[LNB]Hoilett still regards Canada as home but is now well settled in England after a difficult start.[LNB]He said: "At the age of 11, I came over to the Ian Rush tournament in Wales with my team in Canada and was scouted by a number of clubs.[LNB]"When I was 12, I came over on a month's trial to Blackburn and the following year they wanted me to move over, which I had to think about for a year.[LNB]"I decided to go for it. I was delighted and I wanted to but I had to move away from my family and friends.[LNB]"The first year was difficult, but I've learnt how to cope with it and here I am today.[LNB]"The players treat me well, the staff treat me well and I'm happy to be playing at Blackburn Rovers."[LNB][LNB] Liverpool 4/11, Draw 7/2, Blackburn 9/1
