Hitchcock departs Pilgrims
Tom Hitchcock has returned to Blackburn after his loan deal at Plymouth Argyle expired.[LNB] The striker had an unsuccessful time at Home Park, failing to find the back of the net in 10 competitive appearances for the Pilgrims.[LNB]Hitchcock, 18, had not started a game for Argyle since the 2-1 defeat at Burton on September 3, having fallen behind 16-year-old Matt Lecointe and and Luke Daley in the pecking order.[LNB]The youngster's departure leaves Plymouth with just 17 players in their first-team squad, with a Football League embargo preventing them from bringing in any new faces until businessman James Brent's takeover is completed.
