HATCHET MAN: Just like the way he went down, Pedersen's excuse is thoroughly unconvincing

Morten Gamst Pedersen is surely the forward who doth protest too much.
The Blackburn player may look like he would be blown over by a lightest of breezes but the way he went down against Arsenal last weekend was disgraceful - and referees not awarding him genuine fouls is no excuse.
Pedersen said: 'If you see the pictures, you can see that my legs hiteach other and I fall. The heel hits the leg, and I fall face down.
'There were many thoughts that went through my head, then and there. I was frustrated and maybe waved a bit with my arms.'
Like the way he went down, the Norwegian's excuse is thoroughly unconvincing.
