Hammers agree on fee for Benni

It is understood the clubs have reached agreement over an undisclosed transfer fee but are still negotiating over a couple of other issues.[LNB]McCarthy has infuriated Rovers by staying away from training for the last three days in order to try to force a move through.[LNB]The 32-year-old, who has described a potential switch to Upton Park as a 'dream move', is now hoping to agree personal terms with the Hammers.[LNB]The former Ajax and Celta Vigo forward is ready for a fresh start having joined Blackburn from Porto for £2.5million in the summer of 2006.[LNB]He made a superb start in the Premier League, scoring 24 goals in his first season, before hitting 24 over the last two campaigns.[LNB]McCarthy has scored just four goals this term and has a total of 52 in 141 appearances for Rovers.[LNB][LNB] Barclays Premier League Top Goalscorer 09/10.
