Gudjonsson stunner sinks Rovers
Joey Gudjonsson scored a sensational winner as Huddersfield recorded a 1-0 victory over a youthful Blackburn side at the Galpharm Stadium.
Gudjonsson fired the home side ahead in the 17th minute, re-adjusting his feet in mid air before thundering a stunning 25-yarder past Rovers goalkeeper Mark Bunn.
There were further chances at both ends in an entertaining clash, but Gudjonsson`s strike proved to be the winner.
