Gosling Not Impressed With Rovers Link.

There had been speculation that Steve Kean was showing interest toward Dan Gosling from Newcastle United. But he doesn't appear to be that interested at present.

The Gosling link has been about since Rovers signed Leon Best for £3 million from the Magpies, but nothing has been confirmed by either club.

But Gosling would be more interested in fighting for a place in the Newcastle side rather than moving.

He told the Newcastle Journal: "It will be a tough battle but I'm up for the challenge. Hopefully I'm here for the long haul.

"I am aiming for a good year. I want to stay and fight for my place like anybody else."
