Givet has been out of action for a couple of games after picking up a hamstring injury, but now he is back to give Kean a boost ahead of a trip to West Brom on Saturday and then the visit of Liverpool on Tuesday night.
Kean will also be hoping that his side do not pick up any injuries from the game at the Hawthorns as he would like to have that full squad to choose from for the game against Liverpool.
Kean told the club's official website: "The good news is that Gael Givet is now back fit, he has shaken off his hamstring strain so he is available.
"We've missed Gael because he's a winner, he's a battler, he gives you every single ounce so it is great to see him back for the run in.
"We've got nobody else that has fallen by the wayside which is excellent so we've got a good strong squad for both of these games."
