Paul Gallagher is hopeful that he will secure a permanent deal with Plymouth after resigning himself to the fact that he is not wanted at Blackburn.[LNB] The Scottish striker moved to Home Park on loan from Rovers at the start of the season and he will stay with the Championship club until the summer.[LNB]Gallagher has enjoyed a fine campaign and admitted recently he was disappointed to learn that he had no future under Sam Allardyce at Ewood Park.[LNB]Gallagher accepts that all he can do now is focus on Plymouth before he is able to assess his options at the end of the season.[LNB]He feels the Pilgrims may want to keep him and insists he would welcome the opportunity to put pen-to-paper on a long-term contract.[LNB]"The fact is I'm not really a Blackburn player. I'm a Plymouth player because they are the only team I can help at the moment," he explained in The Sun.[LNB]"I'm sure they may like me to join them permanently so it could happen.[LNB]"I'm sitting down with my advisors at the end of the season to see where we go.[LNB]"I hope so. I like living here and so do the family."[LNB]
