Ferguson wants common sense
Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson hopes Blackburn will use common sense regarding their swine flu outbreak.
Rovers have confirmed that three players and two members of staff have caught the virus, including the club doctor, and will therefore miss the Carling Cup tie against Posh on Tuesday night.
Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce has not confirmed which players have been struck down by the illness, although David Dunn and Christopher Samba missed the weekend's game against Chelsea.
Ferguson hopes Rovers will send home any players who are showing symptoms before the game at Ewood Park, but was not overly concerned that his side would be affected.
"You'd be worried if your players got the symptoms and caught them and things like that, so I'm sure common sense will prevail and they'll send whoever's got it home and what have you," he told Sky Sports News.
"But obviously if it spreads right through the club at Blackburn there's going to be a problem.
"But as far as we're aware it's a couple that definitely seem to have the symptoms and a few more might have it."
