Etuhu Set To Miss Wolves Clash

Dickson Etuhu may miss Blackburn's game with Wolves this weekend as Eric Black prepares to get his side ready for his third game in charge.

It is also the first time the side will have played at Ewood Park since Steve Kean left so the atmosphere should be totally different.

Etuhu was struck down by a virus ahead of the trip to Nottingham Forest in midweek and so he missed the 0-0 draw.

The player has been on light duties on the training field, but Black does not foresee him making an appearance against Wolves.

"He came in on Thursday morning and very briefly went on the bike a little bit in the gym," Black told the clubs official website.

"I would still say it's touch and go to be honest, but we'll see how he improves."

Marcus Olsson (hamstring) and Leon Best (knee) will remain in the treatment room, but it's better news about Colin Kazim-Richards, he returned to action as a substitute against Forest and is chomping at the bit for a start this weekend.

"It feels like it's been for ever - it's been six weeks," said the striker.

"It's great to be back and I just can't wait for Saturday."
