Emerton: Winner can turn season around
Brett Emerton hopes his winning goal for Blackburn can be the moment Rovers turn their season around.
The Australian's injury-time strike clinched a 2-1 win at Blackpool and he told his club's official website: "I think that the most disappointing aspect of our season so far is that we have taken the lead in so many of our games and haven't been able to hang on.
"It is a start, we've managed to get all three points away from home, something we have struggled to do last season, so hopefully we can build on that and it really kickstarts our season.
"We find ourselves in the top half of the table now and hopefully we can stay there."
