The former Blackburn striker, 30, is a free agent but could be moving to Championship side West Ham United after John Carew released a picture of Diouf from the club's Chadwell Heath training ground in Essex.
The shot shows just the top of Diouf's head: his eyes and trademark mohican haircut with the message: 'Now can u peeps guesss who showed up for training today ? :D'
Guess who? Carew posted this picture from West ham's training ground
Diouf has been linked with Doncaster, Wigan and Blackpool and super rich Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala, but his appearance in Chadwell Heath would suggest he may have been convinced by former boss Sam Allardyce to move to London.
Controversy has followed Diouf wherever he has played, making him one of the game's most hated figures.
Last season, Diouf was infamously involved in a touchline spat with Celtic boss Neil Lennon while at Rangers, a confrontation which earned him a ?5,000 fine.
However, the Senegal international's loan spell at Ibrox was ultimately successful as he played an influential part in their run-in to the SPL title.
