Double injury blow for Republic

Damien Duff and Keith Andrews are set to miss the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2012 qualifying matches against Russia and Slovakia.[LNB] Manager Giovanni Trapattoni has revealed Fulham midfielder Duff is "90 per cent" certain to miss Friday night's clash with the Russians in Dublin and the trip to Zilina on Tuesday due to a recurrence of a calf problem.[LNB]The same injury kept Duff out of last month's victories over Armenia and Andorra and he is to head back to his club, as is Blackburn midfielder Andrews, who has a persistent groin injury.[LNB]Trapattoni has not drafted in midfield cover, but has added Stoke defender Marc Wilson to the squad, with Darren O'Dea, who was on stand-by, having withdrawn.[LNB]
