Blackburn are set to give Algerian international Rafik Djebbour a two-week trial at Ewood Park. The 24-year-old striker has also recently trained with Celtic and will now spend the next fortnight with the Barclays Premier League club. Djebbour is believed to have fallen out with the coach at his current club, AEK Athens, and will be leaving the Greek club during the January transfer window. Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is has also been linked with a January bid for Aston Villa's Emile Heskey. Allardyce is also hoping that he will be able to extend the loan deal with Chelsea for striker Franco Di Santo, who scored in the weekend derby victory over Burnley.
