Dindane keen to stay in England

Aruna Dindane wants to stay in the Premier League when is season-long loan at Portsmouth ends, with Blackburn in the hunt for the striker.[LNB] The Ivory Coast international has impressed since joining Pompey from Lens last summer.[LNB]He is set to leave Fratton Park when the transfer window reopens and has set his sights on a switch to another English club.[LNB]After attracting interest from Rovers in January, Dindane has since confirmed that he had medical with the Lancashire outfit.[LNB]But he is staying focused on performing as well as he can in the final few games of the campaign for Pompey, culminating in the FA Cup final against Chelsea.[LNB]"I want to stay in England because it is a fantastic league. My first thought is playing here," he told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"I spoke with Blackburn and I had the medical and everything, but now my target is finishing the season, and my agent will deal with Blackburn."[LNB]Pompey will start as massive underdogs against Chelsea at Wembley but Dindane believes they are capable of pulling off a shock and lifting the FA Cup.[LNB]"Chelsea are a big team, they always play in the Champions League, but in the cup anything is possible and all the players know this," said Dindane, who credits manager Avram Grant with getting the best out of his Portsmouth squad.[LNB]"He knows what we can do to get all the players together, and he tries to give confidence to everybody."[LNB]Wolves and Birmingham have also been linked with Dindane.
