David Dunn will keep missing games as Blackburn midfielder tries to control niggling injuries

Off the mark: Dunn celebrates his goal on Saturday[LNB]Blackburn midfielder David Dunn admits he is restricted in the number of games he can play in a season as he has to manage his fitness. [LNB]Dunn, 30, scored his first goal of the campaign in only his fifth start, in the victory against Wolves after groin and hamstring injuries hampered his progress. [LNB]However he did not see the match out and was replaced by Mame Biram Diouf in the 52nd minute. [LNB]'It was a little bit of a precaution,' he told Blackburn's website. 'We were 2-0, job done, so there was no point in risking things. [LNB]'I felt my leg the last couple of days, there was a little bit of pain on the left side. [LNB]'Unfortunately I am one of those players who is going to pick up little niggles.[LNB]'If I can play 20-25 games a season - of course I would like play 38 Premier League games - hopefully I can do something different in them.'[LNB] Dunn, who scored 10 goals last season, added: 'Hopefully there are a few more to come.
