Marseille defender Renato Civelli admits he would be keen to play in the Premier League after being linked with Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City. Civelli is out of contract at the end of the season and is weighing up whether to extend his stay with the Ligue 1 title hopefuls. Reports have claimed that Blackburn and Stoke are considering a bid to sign the 25-year-old on a free transfer, while Real Betis, Palermo, Lazio and Olympiakos have also shown an interest. The centre-half is tempted by the chance to play in England or Spain, but concedes he could yet sign a new contract with Marseille, who are three points behind leaders Bordeaux with two games to play. Fighting for medals "I know I have been linked with various clubs," Civelli told skysports.com. "I would love to play in the Spanish or English leagues. "There are many Argentinians in those leagues, but it is not only money that will be my motivation. I would love a team that is fighting for medals. "I enjoy being in Marseille. I could still be here again, so let's wait until the end of the season. I would love to win this title."
