Chimbonda working hard
Blackburn Rovers new signing Pascal Chimbonda admits he is still working on his fitness.
Chimbonda joined Rovers at the end of last month from Tottenham, and he made his debut against West Ham just days later.
But the 30-year-old admits he is still building towards match fitness after going a number of months without action.
"Towards the end of the first half I was getting a little bit tired because it is a long time since I've played a game," Chimbonda told the club's official website.
"But in the second half I felt good.
"I think after I've played five games then I will show everyone comfortably I can play."
Chimbonda, a right-back by trade, also reiterated that he is happy to play anywhere for the cause.
"My real position is right-back but if the manager asks me to play centre-back or left-back to help the team I will do it. I like to be on the pitch," he said.
