Pascal Chimbonda's agent insists the Blackburn defender is "happy to stay" at Ewood Park, despite his lack of first-team action.[LNB] The 30-year-old defender signed a two-year deal with Rovers last August but there was speculation he could be surplus to requirements after starting only one game in the last three months of the season.[LNB]Chimbonda has switched clubs five times in the past five years and famously handed in a transfer request in the dressing room while at Wigan, just minutes after the final game of the 2005/06 season.[LNB]But the Frenchman's agent, Willie McKay, insists he has no desire to seek a move away from Ewood Park.[LNB]Asked by the Lancashire Telegraph if Chimbonda would put in a transfer request this summer, McKay said: "No, he's quite happy there."[LNB]Primarily a right-back, Chimbonda came into the Rovers team on the left side of defence after making a £2million move from Tottenham just before the summer transfer window closed.[LNB]He went on to make 22 Premier League starts as Rovers secured a 10th-placed finish, scoring one goal, a superb effort in the 3-2 derby win over Burnley in October.
