Take that: Chelsea not interested in David Beckham[LNB]Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has ruled out a move for David Beckham in the January transfer window, while Sunderland boss Steve Bruce has been thwarted in his bid to bring the former England captain to the north east.[LNB]Beckham has been linked with a loan move to Tottenham with Blackburn and Newcastle also expressing interest in the midfielder, who is currently in the close season with LA Galaxy.[LNB]Ancelotti worked with 35-year-old Beckham during his loan spell at AC Milan two seasons ago. But the Italian said: 'I read Beckham would like to come back for Tottenham. [LNB]'He is a fantastic professional player and could be good support for Tottenham if he comes back. But we are not interested. In that position we have good players.'[LNB]Beckham spent the last two close seasons on loan at AC Milan and is keen to return to Europe in order to prove to England manager Fabio Capello that he deserves a recall to the national side.[LNB]But Ancelotti believes he could do a job for a top Premier League club until the MLS season begins again in March.[LNB]He said: 'When he came to Milan he was not young. He came from the American league and it is not a league with fantastic football but he gave fantastic support.[LNB]'Beckham is a professional player, it is easy to manage him. Everytime he does total support for the team. He is an unselfish player. Iwas happy to manage him for six months because he is a fantastic playerand a good man.'[LNB]Beckham, meanwhile, has rejected an offer from Sunderland boss Steve Bruce, but only to watch Take That at the Stadium of Light.[LNB] Star show: Becks had to turn down Brice's invitation to watch Take That in May [LNB]Bruce admitted he had spoken to the 35-year-old, but revealed Take That's return to the city in May, rather than football, was on the agenda.[LNB]He said: 'I had a word with Becks - not about football. I invited him to Take That. If Take That can get back together then I am going to get the Manchester United lot together and have a bit of a night out. Unfortunately, he is back in LA at that time, but I did invite him up here.'[LNB]Arsene Wenger believes Beckham, who trained at Arsenal's Hertfordshire complex to keep himself fit during January 2008, can be a hit in the Premier League again. [LNB]The Arsenal boss said: 'At the time he was practising here, he was ready. Since he had his injury I don't know because I haven't seen him practice or play.[LNB]'The only thing I can say, of course you don't need to speak about his talent or his professional attitude because that was absolutely fantastic. [LNB]'I respect a lot the guy who plays until the last day of his potential and doesn't care too much about what people say because he knows he will never play again after that.'[LNB] Blackburn offer Ronaldinho whopping £20m to agree shock switch as they open door to David Beckham loan swoopHarry Redknapp: I don't need to watch David Beckham play to know how good he is Alan Pardew: Beckham is out of Newcastle's league but Spurs duo Keane and Bentley aren'tDavid Bentley set for Newcastle move to make way for David Beckham at Spurs CHELSEA FC
