Carlisle United have secured the signing of Blackburn Rovers defender Tony Kane on loan until the end of the season.[LNB] The Northern Ireland Under 21 international spent time at Stockport County earlier this campaign and now moves to Brunton Park in a bid to continue his development.[LNB]Kane is thoroughly looking forward to his time at League One side Carlisle, with the club seeking to rise up the table from their position of 18th.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "I'm very pleased with this move, to be honest. [LNB]Hard work"I just want to get out there and try and get some games under my belt. Hopefully I will do well for Carlisle while I am here, that's certainly my intention anyway.[LNB]"I've played in Belgium for a year, and I have had the spells with Stockport, so I don't mind moving away from Blackburn at all.[LNB]"The important thing is playing football. That's all I want to be doing, and I have been in amongst the squad already, and seen what they can do, and I think everyone is just raring to go after the recent postponed games.[LNB]"I will now work hard in the training sessions with everyone and try to force my way in to the manager's thinking, and let's see where that leads."[LNB]
