Cardiff City deny they've received bids for star striker Jay Bothroyd

International class: Jay Bothroyd has been linked to a host of Premier League clubs[LNB]Cardiff insist they have yet to receive a bid for Jay Bothroyd despite reported interest from Fulham, Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers in the out of contract striker. [LNB]Bothroyd, 28, could leave the Cardiff City Stadium in a cut-price deal during this month's transfer window. [LNB]But Cardiff boss Dave Jones said: 'We have had no contact from any club for Jay. I've heard Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Fulham all linked with him but we haven't had one telephone call for any senior player at this football club. [LNB]'The only contact we've had is for younger players to go out onloan. The speculation does not bother me but all the clubs know ournumbers here.[LNB]'If I was after a player then we would contactthe club and do the proper things.
