Allardyce said the Toffees star often pulled the wool over referees' eyes, but Cahill refused to get drawn in to a row following the 0-0 draw at Ewood Park.[LNB]Cahill told Everton TV: "I take it as a compliment. Sam is a very good Premier League manager and he's where he is at because he's a legend in the game. So I respect his comments and I respect the team. It's nice of him to think of me."[LNB]Chances were few and far between against Blackburn and Cahill believes the outcome was a point gained for Everton rather than two lost.[LNB]He added: "I think it's a good point. It's a very hard place to go. We knew before how difficult it would be.[LNB]"There's always a confidence. There was a confidence against Blackburn - although we knew it was going to be ugly. It's exciting thinking about what potential awaits us."[LNB]Cahill said he was now concentrating on Sunday's FA Cup clash with Middlesbrough, with a place in the semi-final awaiting the victors.[LNB]The Australian said: "I'm excited about Sunday. It's a big opportunity for the football club and the players. We get a chance to see what level we can lift our bodies to."[LNB][LNB]
