Brown keen on Leeds stay

Blackburn goalkeeper Jason Brown wants to make his loan move to Leeds a permanent one. Brown moved to the Yorkshire club after dropping behind Mark Bunn as well as Paul Robinson in the pecking order at Ewood Park. And he is thought to be in line to make his first start for the Elland Road club after injuries to Kasper Schmeichel and Shane Higgs. Brown told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "My contract at Blackburn finishes at the end of the season and I made it clear to them in the summer that I was very much looking for another club. "I am excited to be at Leeds on loan. It would be a great club maybe to come back to if all goes well. I am working as hard as I can in training and if I get another opportunity in the first team I want to make the most of it. "As good a club as Blackburn are, they don't get crowds of 25,000, even for the visit of Manchester United, so it is a privilege to be at Leeds."
