Brown bigs up Rovers friendly
Preston boss Phil Brown has highlighted the importance of Saturday's friendly against neighbours Blackburn.[LNB] North End open their League One campaign with a home showdown against Colchester on August 6.[LNB]But Brown feels the game with Steve Kean's men will provide a significant test for his side as they bid to step up their preparations for the new season.[LNB]"We will start technically and tactically preparing on Saturday against Blackburn for the match against Colchester," said Brown.[LNB]"People can start second guessing the team from that date - but the Blackburn game is important."
