Boss slams Blackburn defending

13 December 2010 11:00
Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce accused his players of defending "like a bunch of old women" as they threw away a point at Bolton. Mame Biram Diouf cancelled out Fabrice Muamba`s opener in the 87th minute, and this after Mark Davies had been sent off. But seconds later, a long ball upfield was volleyed home by Stuart Holden to snatch 10-man Bolton the points. Allardyce said: "We all know what Kevin Davies is good at and lo and behold none of our defenders picked up the loose ball. It was diabolical defending."
