Bolton look to pip Blackburn by snapping up Pompey's Davis on a free
Bolton are hoping to finalise the free transfer signing of Portsmouth midfielder Sean Davis at the end of the month.
Sportsmail revealed that Gary Megson was favourite to land Davis despite rivalry from Blackburn.
Davis' existing deal at Fratton Park expires later this month and no new contract has been agreed.
