Blackburn's Keith Andrews snubs Leeds, Ipswich lead chase

Keith Andrews looks to be heading south after spurning a move to Leeds United and plumping for Championship side Ipswich Town instead. [LNB]The Blackburn Rovers midfielder, 30, was a fringe player at Ewood Park last season and could make the move to Portman Road after Paul Jewell's side beat off stern competition from a number of second-tier clubs. Andrews could be heading to Ipswich[LNB]The Republic of Ireland International made just five Premeir League appearances last term and Leeds looked hot favourites to capture his signature, however, his agent Will Salthouse has confirmed he will not be heading to Elland Road.[LNB]'Keith won't be coming to Leeds,' Salthouse told the Yorkshire Post. [LNB]'Leeds are still interested (in the future), but he just feels there's an opportunity somewhere else and at this moment in time, it's the best opportunity for him.[LNB]'There may be a change in the future,but at the moment, he won't be coming. I had a long chat with Simon (Grayson) and (technical director) Gwyn Williams.
