Blackburn want Argentina great Diego Maradona as their new manager

Blackburn's new owners have admitted they want to bring in Argentina legend Diego Maradona as a replacement for former boss Sam Allardyce.[LNB]Maradona has been linked with a host of jobs since guiding Argentina to the quarter-finals of the World Cup in South Africa.[LNB]And after appointing Steve Kean as caretaker, Venky's chairwoman Anuradha Desai said told the Mirror: 'We thought about Maradona as a coach after we took over.[LNB] Legend: Former Argentina boss Diego Maradona[LNB]'Talks were at the initial stage then, but there is no development on that front yet.[LNB]'For now, the current coach will be the manager till the end of the season. We have full faith that he will do the best job and keep the team motivated.
