Duffy blow for Rovers

Shane Duffy will not be considered for Blackburn when they welcome Rotherham to Ewood Park.

The central defender missed Saturday's loss at Watford due to personal reasons and although he was back training on Monday, boss Gary Bowyer confirmed he will not be available for selection on Tuesday night.

Bowyer remains without two other players as neither David Dunn (calf) or fellow midfielder John O'Sullivan (back) are ready to join the squad just yet.

Striker Rudy Gestede (thigh) appeared as a substitute at the weekend and will hope to rekindle his partnership with Jordan Rhodes in Rovers' attack.

Rotherham will have Jack Hunt back in their squad.

The on-loan right-back missed Saturday's impressive win over Ipswich with a virus, but he has returned to training and will travel across the Pennines.

Boss Steve Evans has no other injury or suspension concerns but has hinted he might make changes after keeping the same starting XI for four games in a row.

The Millers make the journey to Ewood Park for the first time in a league meeting since 1982.
