Blackburn likely to be unchanged against Reading

Blackburn boss Paul Lambert is likely to pick from the same squad that beat Rotherham for his final match in charge at home to Reading.

The Rovers manager, who announced last week he would not be staying at Ewood Park beyond the end of the season, has one or two niggles to contend with but is optimistic those players will recover.

Defender Tommy Spurr will be sidelined by the Achilles injury that has kept him out for the last five weeks.

Midfielder Hope Akpan also looks set to miss out with an ankle problem.

Royals winger Hal Robson-Kanu is rated 50-50 to feature after a calf problem.

Full-back Jordan Obita will miss out again due to a hamstring injury.

Boss Brian McDermott will give some of the club's youngsters a chance with under-18s captain Josh Barrett in line for a first start.

Winger Jack Stacey will be on the bench after he was recalled from a loan spell at Carlisle.
