Worries mount for Rovers

Blackburn are sweating on the fitness of a number of players ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace at Ewood Park.

Rovers will secure their survival with a win but could be without Colin Kazim-Richards, David Dunn and Markus Olsson after they all suffered knocks in the win over Millwall.

Striker Kazim-Richards suffered a dislocated shoulder early in the game, while Dunn sustained an ankle knock late on and fellow midfielder Olsson was withdrawn with a tight hamstring.

All three will be closely monitored ahead of the game, along with Jason Lowe (knee), Gael Givet (hamstring), Martin Olsson (ankle) and David Bentley (knee).

Striker Leon Best serves the second of a three-match ban while Jake Kean (knee), Paul Robinson (back/lung), Adam Henley (hamstring), Dickson Etuhu (knee) and DJ Campbell (foot) are definitely out.

Crystal Palace welcome back skipper Mile Jedinak for the trip.

The Australia international has missed the last two matches through suspension after collecting 10 yellow cards this season and will go straight back into the starting line-up.

Fellow midfielder Jonny Williams is fit after a knee injury but full-back Jonathan Parr will miss the rest of the season with ankle ligament damage.

Midfielder Owen Garvan is close to returning after a knee injury but defender Paddy McCarthy misses out again with a long-term groin problem.

Striker Aaron Wilbraham hopes to keep his place after making his first league start since August in the 2-2 draw with Leicester last weekend.

Winger Yannick Bolasie could be recalled after dropping to the bench against the Foxes.
