Blackburn Rovers are set to renew their interest in Vedad Ibisevic.

Manager Steve Kean abandoned plans to buy the ?6million-rated Hoffenheim striker in the summer following concerns over his fitness.

Centre of attention: Ibisevic is being courted by Blackburn and Everton

But three goals in as many games has prompted Kean to reassess his decision, and is set to move for the 27-year-old striker when the transfer window re-opens in January, according to The Mirror.

'Ibisevic had a good scoring record before he picked up a knee injury a couple of years ago,' Kean said earlier this year.

Heads up: The Bosnia international has scored three goals in his last three games

'Now he has a separate injury and he has not played as much.'

Everton manager David Moyes is also said to be interested in the Bosnia international.
