Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is on the hunt for a left winger Blackburn Rovers are giving a week-long trial to French youngster Alharbi El-Jadeyaoui as Sam Allardyce steps up his search for a left winger. El-Jadeyaoui, 22, is in the final year of his contract at French second division club Brest, who are keen to keep hold of the versatile player. Allardyce has already enquired about two French players in the same position: Paris Saint-Germain international winger Jerome Rothen and Valenciennes' Gael Danic. Rothen, 31, is almost certain to leave the Parc des Princes after falling out with the management, leaving PSG to rival Blackburn and Portsmouth for Danic. However, Valenciennes are keen to hold on to Danic, who said: 'Some very interesting clubs have contacted the club president, but they said it was not even worth discussing and that the door was closed. 'It must mean I'm very well regarded at Valenciennes. If the boardveto my departure it means they are satisfied with how I played lastseason and they want me to build on that.' However, Danic did not rule out a move if his suitors make an acceptable bid before the transfer window closes. 'Before August 31, many things can change, but whatever happens, I will not force an exit. If I stay, I stay.' Another left winger who expects to sign for an English club in the next few days is Russian-born Finland international Alexei Eremenko. The 26-year-old Saturn player is in England to complete a transfer and said: 'I don't want to say which club it is. I will stay in England for a few days and, hopefully, everything will be decided.' Eremenko's contract runs out at the end of the year and his Moscow-based club will not stand in the way of a transfer this summer. The versatile former Lecce player is a free-kick specialist who once had a trial with Aston Villa.
