Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has signed striker Franco Di Santo on loan from Chelsea for the first half of the season and has captured £6m Hajduk Split striker Nikola Kalinic on a four-year deal. Hajduk Split announced on Monday evening that the Ewood Park outfit have struck a deal to sign the highly-rated Croatia international. The 21-year-old, who has been compared to former Arsenal and West Ham star Davor Suker, could cost Rovers up to £12million, according to Hajduk Split. Allardyce has been determined to strengthen his attack following the departure of Roque Santa Cruz to Manchester City and both players now give him fresh options.
