Blackburn sign French defender Givet
Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Olympique Marseille defender Gael Givet for an undisclosed fee, the Premier League club said on Friday.
The French international, who plays at left back and centre back, has signed a four-year deal after initially joining Rovers on loan in January.
"It is a critical signing. Gael made a massive impact last season while on loan here and I think he can get even better," Rovers manager Sam Allardyce told the club website (www.rovers.co.uk).
