Blackburn boss Henning Berg keen to learn from mistakes after they were held by Huddersfield

Blackburn manager Henning Berg urged his players to learn from their defensive mistakes after they conceded in stoppage time to draw 2-2 with Huddersfield.

Goals from Jordan Rhodes and Danny Murphy either side of half-time cancelled out Lee Novak's 15th-minute opener but the same player pounced to earn a point for Huddersfield.

"I know in a football game, it's not over until the final whistle goes," said Berg.

"With three seconds to go you still hope to win the game and we would have if we had kept the ball, if we had made the right decisions with the ball in the last minute of the game, we would have come away with the three points.

"Everybody would have been happy with the performance, we would have been happy with the result but it wasn't to be.

"We've got a few young players in the team as well and this is a learning process for everybody.

"I hope that we learn the lesson today in terms of how we can kill games off and how we should use the ball in the last dying minutes of games.

"Next time we're in this position I expect us to do the right decisions."
