Blackburn boss Allardyce targets Portsmouth striker Crouch with cash from Santa sale
Blackburn are considering a move for England and Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch and will use some of the cash from the sale of Roque Santa Cruz.
The Paraguay star moved to Manchester City for £18m yesterday while striker Matt Derbyshire switched to Olympiacos for £3m.
The Daily Mirror reports Blackburn will hand boss Sam Allardyce just over half of the combined £21m to bolster his transfer kitty - and Crouch is top of his wishlist.
