Big Sam To Sniff Out Robbo?

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is set to raid his old club Blackburn Rovers for goalkeeper Paul Robinson as he looks to replace Robert Green.

Green is not expected to be at Upton Park for much longer after being unable to agree new contract terms with the club.

This has immediately fueled speculation in the press that Big Sam will now come after Robinson who was one of the few players at Rovers last season who looked like he cared.

It’s likely that the former England keeper would want a move back into the English top flight and it just maybe that Rovers would be better off not having him on their wage bill now they are a Championship club.

There has also been links to Allardyce being interested in another one of his old staff in Jussi Jaaskelainen from Bolton as well as Sunderland’s Craig Gordon.
